SEC 1 Player Introduction & Biography

Andrew Symonds, affectionately known as 'Roy', was one of the most explosive, dynamic all-rounders and arguably the most lethal boundary fielder in modern cricket history. Armed with power-packed strokeplay, electric athleticism, and the capability to bowl both medium-pace and off-spin, Symonds was a pillar of Australia's dominant era.

2003 World Cup Hero & Deccan Chargers IPL Glory

In the opening match of the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup in Johannesburg, with Australia reeling at 86/4, Symonds launched a career-defining blitz of 143* off 125 balls against Pakistan.
